Explain
Tribunal orders and the time limits to follow them
When the SEND Tribunal orders the council to act, the Regulations set time limits from the date of the order. For example, to say it will assess: 2 weeks. To issue a draft plan: 5 weeks, and the final plan: 11 weeks. To amend Sections B or F: 5 weeks. To change the school or college named: 2 weeks. If an order is not carried out, the routes people use include a complaint, the Local Government and Social Care Ombudsman, and judicial review.
