Rulebook · Plan check
Advice may be out of date
The assessment seeks advice from the parent or young person, and educational, medical, psychological and social care advice, plus preparing-for-adulthood advice from Year 9 and any advice the family reasonably asks for. Advice under reg 6(1)(b) to (h) is not sought again if earlier advice exists and the adviser, the council and the parent or young person are all satisfied it is sufficient.

Plan checks look at what a plan says and how clearly. They do not judge whether the help is enough for the child.
