Rulebook · What a local authority letter includes
A named person at the health body or council to contact, with a phone number or email
A named person at the health body or council to contact, with a phone number or email. A named contact lets the family ask about the reply. For a reply from the council, the Act says the council must have regard to how important it is for families to get the information and support they need to take part in decisions. That section does not apply to the health body.
Not required by law: good practice.
Part of the letter: Reply to a Tribunal recommendation about health or social care.
