Explain
Final EHC plan
The final EHC plan is the version the council issues after the comment period. It must be sent to the parent or young person, the school or college named, and the health commissioning body, within 20 weeks of the request. It comes with a notice of the right to appeal Sections B, F and I to the SEND Tribunal and the time limit for doing so. The notice also covers mediation, disagreement resolution, information and advice, and the tribunal's power to make health and social care recommendations. The council must then secure the special educational provision in Section F.
