Explain
Section B (special educational needs)
Section B lists all of the child or young person's special educational needs. All of the needs found in the assessment belong here, not just the main ones. It describes what they find hard and how it affects their learning, not only a diagnosis. The Code of Practice says each need in Section B must have matching help in Section F. Section B can be appealed to the SEND Tribunal when a plan is issued or amended.
