Explain
Year 9
Year 9 (age 13 to 14) is a legal turning point. From Year 9, an EHC needs assessment must include advice on preparing for adulthood. The plan must include provision to help with it. Every annual review must consider what is needed to prepare for adulthood and independent living. Plenda uses the year group given to work out whether these rules apply.
