Explain
Section K (advice and information)
Section K is the advice and information gathered during the EHC needs assessment. It is attached at the end of the plan, as appendices. It includes advice from the parent or young person, the school or college, health, an educational psychologist and social care. It lets anyone compare the plan with the advice. The council must take the advice into account, but it does not have to adopt every recommendation.
