Explain
Section H2 (other social care)
Section H2 sets out any other social care provision the child or young person reasonably needs because of their learning difficulties or disabilities. For a child this can include residential short breaks; the Code of Practice puts non-residential short breaks in Section H1. For a young person aged 18 or over it can include care and support from adult social care. Section H2 cannot be appealed on its own. In an appeal about a plan, for example about Section B, F or I, the SEND Tribunal can make recommendations about it.
