Explain
Section A (views, interests and aspirations)
Section A sets out the views, interests and hopes for the future of the child and their parents, or of the young person. For a child, the law asks for both the child's own views and the parents' views. Section A often covers what the child enjoys, what matters to them, how they communicate, and their history. It cannot be appealed to the SEND Tribunal, but it can be commented on when a draft plan is sent or at a review.
